Campaign : The annual Rugby 7’s event held 29 th November to 2 nd December in Dubai

Background: The organiser’s of the event in cooperation with their main sponsors such as Nivea choose to opt for an SMS & win campaign ever year

Objectives: To use SMS & Win to entertain the spectators, emphasise the brands sponsoring the event as well as use it as a voting method.

The Cellempower solution: Every Rugby 7’s event, Cellempower dedicates a premium shortcode which is announced throughout the event with questions around the Rugby 7’s tournament as well as for people to vote for the Nivea man of the year .

Promotion: The questions are announced by the MC, on the live screens and by cheerleaders on the pitch.

Results :The campaign achieved a 6.2% conversion rate.
